At Cabinets Discount Warehouse (CDW), we work closely with our shipping partners to make sure your order arrives as smoothly and quickly as possible. While most deliveries go according to plan, occasional delays or scheduling issues can happen due to weather, traffic, carrier availability, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Because all orders are delivered by independent third-party freight carriers, CDW cannot guarantee specific delivery dates or times and is not responsible for shipping delays, missed delivery appointments, or carrier-related issues.

If you experience a shipping delay, missed appointment, or delivery concern, please contact the freight carrier directly, as they are responsible for transporting your order.

By purchasing from CDW, you acknowledge that CDW is not liable for any additional expenses or losses related to shipping delays or delivery issues, including:

• Installation or assembly labor costs
• Contractor or subcontractor fees
• Project delays
• Jobsite modifications
• Lost wages or time away from work
• Rescheduling costs
• Backorders
• Any other expenses related to receiving or installing your cabinets

We appreciate your understanding and patience should an unexpected shipping issue occur. Our team will always do our best to assist and help coordinate with the carrier whenever possible.

To report freight damage, missing items, or a delivery claim, email claims@cabinetsdiscountwarehouse.com with your order number, affected SKU, and clear photos.

At Cabinets Discount Warehouse (CDW), we work hard to provide accurate information and quality products and services. However, our website, products, and services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We cannot guarantee that:

Except where specifically stated, CDW does not provide any additional warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Our commitment to quality

Cabinets Discount Warehouse stands behind the quality of our cabinets and hardware. We proudly offer a 12-month limited warranty to the original purchaser covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

What is covered?

For 12 months from the date of purchase, Cabinets Discount Warehouse warrants that our cabinets, hinges, and drawer glides will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If a product is determined to be defective during the warranty period, Cabinets Discount Warehouse may, at its discretion:

• Repair the defective component.
• Provide replacement parts.
• Replace the product with a comparable item of equal value and function.

Replacement parts may vary slightly from the original due to product updates or availability.

What is not covered?

This warranty does not cover issues resulting from:

• Normal wear and tear.
• Improper installation.
• Misuse, abuse, neglect, or accidental damage.
• Improper storage or handling.
• Unauthorized modifications or alterations.
• Water damage, excessive moisture, or extreme environmental conditions.
• Natural disasters or other events beyond our control.
• Labor costs for removal, installation, or reinstallation.

Natural beauty of wood

Wood is a natural material. Variations in color, grain pattern, texture, and appearance make each cabinet unique. Exposure to sunlight, indoor lighting, humidity, smoke, cleaning products, and everyday use may cause natural changes in color and finish. These characteristics and aging processes are normal and are not manufacturing defects.

Painted and glazed finishes

Many products feature hand-applied finishes, stains, paints, and glazes. Slight variations in color, shading, distressing, glazing effects, or finish details may occur from cabinet to cabinet. These variations enhance the character of the cabinetry and are not defects. Wood also naturally expands and contracts with seasonal humidity changes, so small hairline cracks around joints or seams in painted finishes may occur.

Warranty claim process

If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, contact your Cabinets Discount Warehouse sales representative or account manager and provide:

• A brief description of the issue.
• Photographs of the affected product whenever possible.
• Your original invoice or other proof of purchase.

Our team will review the claim and respond as quickly as possible. We may request additional photographs, documentation, inspection, or return of the product before approving a repair or replacement.

Important information

• This warranty applies only to the original purchaser.
• This warranty is non-transferable.
• Warranty coverage is valid only within the United States.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CDW will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website, products, or services. This includes, but is not limited to, lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill.

We are also not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers or circumstances beyond our control; additional costs resulting from delivery delays; or damage or injury resulting from the handling, receipt, storage, installation, or use of our products.

If CDW is found liable for any claim related to our products or website, our total liability will be limited to the amount you paid for the product involved in the claim.

Some states do not allow certain limitations on warranties or damages, so portions of the above limitations may not apply to you.

Arbitration agreement

We hope that any concerns can be resolved quickly and fairly. If a dispute arises, you agree that disputes between you and CDW will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court. By placing an order, you agree to this arbitration provision unless you opt out within 30 days of your first purchase by emailing customerservice@cabinetsdiscountwarehouse.com.

What arbitration means

• Disputes will be decided by a neutral arbitrator rather than a judge or jury.
• Arbitration will be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
• The arbitrator’s decision will be final and binding, subject only to limited review allowed by law.
• Arbitration will take place in Oakland County, Michigan, unless both parties agree to another location.

Class action waiver

The parties agree that any claim must be brought individually and not as a plaintiff or class member. Neither party may bring a claim as part of a class action lawsuit, act as a representative for others in a class action, or combine claims from multiple individuals into one proceeding.

Applicable law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Arbitration costs & attorney fees

Arbitration fees will be handled according to AAA rules. If a party refuses to participate in arbitration, unsuccessfully challenges an arbitration award, or fails to comply with an arbitration award, the other party may seek reimbursement for legal costs and reasonable attorney fees related to enforcing the arbitration process or award.

This arbitration agreement remains in effect even after services have ended or an order has been completed. CDW reserves all rights not expressly granted in these Terms and Conditions.
